American Grading, Inc. was founded in 2004 by Chris Rion. From the very beginning, our focus has been on trade work related to site preparation for both private commercial and public-sector projects. Whether it’s beneath the ground or on its surface, we have the demonstrated expertise to build it efficiently, rapidly, and within the quoted budget.
Employing multiple trades in-house also offers several unique advantages. Our company culture is known for its ability to coordinate tasks that, when handled by several separate companies, often find themselves in conflict with one another on job sites.
Early in a project, it’s crucial to get utilities, detention, earthwork, and concrete in place without delay. We coordinate closely, both in-house and with other contractors on site, for results that will get your construction project off to the right start.
Taking our lead from OSHA and the National Safety Council, our goal is always zero tolerance and zero accidents. Our safety ratings are excellent upon every inspection because prevention, not only of accidents but any delays or disruptions, is the evidence of our professionalism and the cornerstone of our reputation.
American Grading, Inc. empowers employees to recognize unsafe conditions, take preventative action, and enforce health and safety standards on the job. And as part of our commitment to safety, we continually educate supervisors and employees about new health and safety standards, and work aggressively to meet or exceed them (including new concrete silica standards).
Value engineering is where we really shine. Our years of experience, professional staff, and rigorous standards and procedures allow us to look at any new project, compare it with other work we’ve completed, and approach any challenges with creativity and confidence.
